2015/2016 FIL Natural Track World Cup – Women’s Luge – Race 4

For the first time this season, Ekaterina Lavrentyeva took gold in women’s luge. On her home track, the Russian came down over .8 faster than anyone else in the race to move up to third in World Cup points.

Evelin Lanthaler finished second, continuing her fantastic start to the season, having done no worse than silver (Kühtai and Moscow). She edged Austrian Tina Unterberger, who finished just .06 out of silver.

Ludmila Astramovich made it two Russians in the top five with her fourth place finish, just ahead of Greta PInggera, who finished fifth.
