Results from the seventh men’s skeleton race of the 2016/2017 IBSF European Cup season, held January 19, 2017.

Dominic Rady continued his stellar season in the European Cup, winning gold in Altenberg. The German has yet to finish off the podium this season, coupling two golds with three silvers and a bronze.

Rady’s teammate Felix Keisinger finished second, well over 1.5 seconds ahead of third place Alexey Kozlov of Russia.

Alex Ivanov pieced together two solid runs to finish eighth, while teammate Austin Florian had trouble in his second run, finishing 15th.

Jonathan Chu and Ben Roberts finished 22nd and 25th for Canada, while Timothy Hull finished 16th in the lone British effort.
