Alex Gruber took gold in Deutschnofen, leading the way in both heats on his way to victory.

The Italian’s two runs were the quickest two trips down of the day for anyone, giving him a half-second win over Thomas Kammerlander of Austria.

Kammerlander was well ahead of anyone else except for Gruber, but extended his point lead over Patrick Pigneter, who finished third.

Going into the final race of the season, Kammerlander holds a 25 point advantage over Pigneter, with both well ahead of Gruber, who sits third.
