Netlaus Wins Second of the Season

(Dec. 15, 2017) Latvian Krists Netlaus won his second race of the 2017/2018 IBSF European Cup season in Round 5 in La Plagne, France.

Netlaus was the class of the field, setting the fast start time of both heats on his way to a .46 win over Russian Evgeniy Rukosuev.

Russia finished in the second through fourth spots, with Rukosuev being joined by Artem Drozdov and Konstantin Khoroshko, who finished third and fourth respectively.

Samuel Maier of Austria and Stephen Garbett of the United States rounded out the top six.

Alex Ivanov finished 12th for the United States.
