(Jan. 6, 2017) The Italian doubles team of Patrick Pigneter & Florian Clara stayed perfect on the 2017/2018 FIL season, winning in a one-heat race in Latzfons.
The Italians were the quickest at every split down the Italian course on their way to 1.56 second victory over the Russian duo of Pavel Porshnev & Ivan Lazarev.
The race was cut to one heat due to poor weather.
Russians Aleksandr Egorov & Peter Popov finished third, just ahead of Rupert Brüggler & Tobias Angerer in fourth.
The British duo of Joshua Reeves & Ashleigh Evans finished 11th.
