Cunningham Wins in Lake Placid 4-Man

(Jan. 13, 2018) American Nick Cunningham won his second North American Cup four-man competition in as many attempts, this time in Lake Placid.

The 2016/2017 NAC champion was the quickest off the top and at every split along the Mt. Van Hoevenberg track on his way to a 1.01 second victory over teammate Hunter Church.

Brazil’s Edson Bindilatti finished third, just .15 behind church.

The win was the third medal in three NAC four-man races for Cunningham, with a silver medal in Park City 5 to go along with his golds in Park City 6 and Lake Placid 7.

Jian Jin finished fourth, Geoff Gadbois fifth, and Yijun Shao sixth.

Canadians Taylor Austin and Jeff McKeen finished eighth and ninth, respectively.
