(Nov. 17, 2018) – For the second time in as many races, Great Britain’s Madelaine Smith struck gold in Igls.
Smith was the quickest in both heats on her way to a one second victory over teammate Kimberley Murray, who tied a career-best finish with a silver medal.
Germany’s Janine Becker finished third.
Hannah Neise, Josefa Schellmoser, and Luisa Hornung, all of Germany, rounded out the top six.
Hannah Stevenson finished seventh and Philippa Wellington 13th to round out the British effort.
