Ellmauer Continues Hot Streak with Lillehammer Victory

(February 11, 2023) – Hermann Ellmauer backed up his World Championships come from behind victory in St. Moritz with another win, this time in Lillehammer.

Ellmauer was the quickest in both heats on his way to a .08 victory over Swiss pilot Jonas Frei. Frei’s second run matched Ellmauer’s but Ellmauer’s better first run was the difference.

Sweden’s Sebastian Westin finished third, .22 out of the lead.

USA’s Guillermo Castillo and Robert Balk finished fourth and fifth, respectively, while Great Britain’s Corie Mapp rounded out the top six.
