Norton Wins First Career 4-Man Gold

(November 18, 2023) – Pat Norton edged out Kristopher Horn for his first career four-man bobsled gold medal.

In the one-heat race Norton and his crew were the first team off the top. They set a time to beat of 57.19. South Korea’s Jinsu Kim was next, but finished just over two seconds off of Norton’s pace.

Team Horn were next off and had the quickest push of the competition. Horn drove his team to the lead at the penultimate split, but fell behind by just .03 at the finish line. They would eventually finish with a silver medal.

The final team down was Geoff Gadbois’s American squad, who finished third, .34 back of Norton to win bronze.

Kim’s team finished fourth.
