Lin Wins NAC Monobob Finale, Season Title

From Lake Placid, USA

(March 26, 2026) – Sin-Rong cruised to victory in Lake Placid in the North American Cup season finale, and with it took the season title.

Lin was the first off the top in the first heat and set a downtime that wouldn’t be close to matched by anyone else in the field. The heat ended with Latvia’s Amelija Kotane in second, over a full second back, while South Korea’s Eunji Jeon was over two seconds back in third.

The second heat was nearly academic. In a small field of mostly inexperienced pilots, Jeon took the lead by USA’s Sydney Milani by nearly ten seconds, but saw Kotane take over the top spot by over a full second.

Finally it was Lin’s turn off the top. Looking for Taiwan’s first ever gold medal in an international bobsled competition, Lin set the quick start of the heat, and had the quickest time at every split along the way on her way to a 1.81 second victory over Kotane, with the Latvian silver and the South Korean third.

While Lin’s victory was the first of her career and the first for Taiwan, it was the Olympian’s sixth monobob medal of the NAC season. She took the season title ahead of Canada’s Bianca Ribi, who did not start. Erica Voss, Yooran Kim and Mica Moore rounded out the top five in the 2025/2026 monobob season.
