(November 14, 2021) – Alexey Stulnev won his second straight European Cup race, once again beating out a Swiss army of sleds.
Stulnev was the quickest in both heats on his way to a .4 second victory over Switzerland’s Michael Kuonen.
Kuonen’s teammate, Timo Rohner, finished third, only .04 behind Kuonen. The silver/bronze combo was the second straight in two days for Switzerland.
Germany’s Richard Oelsner finished just out of the medals in fourth, .3 ahead of Latvia’s Emils Cipulis. Swiss pilot Cedric Follador finished sixth. Switzerland once again had a strong showing, with Yann Moulinier finishing behind Follador in seventh.
Liechtenstein’s Martin Kranz finished ninth.
