Rissling Stays Perfect in Park City with Monobob Gold

(November 24, 2021) – Canada’s Alysia Rissling dominated the fifth North American Monobob World Series event, winning yet another gold in Park City.

Rissling was the quickest off the top and at every split of the competition on her way to a 1.53 second victory over the United States’ Brittany Reinbolt. Rissling’s two times were the two fastest of the competition.

Rissling’s gold was her eighth straight to the start season between monobob and two-woman bobsled, while Reinbolt’s silver was her seventh in eight races.

Canada’s Bianca Ribi finished in third after being leapfrogged by Reinbolt in the second heat.

North Americans took the top four spots in Park City, with Nicole Vogt scoring a fourth place finish, only .02 out of the medals.

Jazmine Fenlator-Victorian and Brazil’s Marina Silva Tuono rounded out the top six.
