From Königssee, GER
The team relay once again belonged to the Germans, with the team of Geisenberger, Loch and Wendl/Arlt quickest in each of the intervals.
The battle for silver was a tough one, though, with the two North American squads fighting for spots atop the podium. Canada came down one run before the United States, and watched as their lead slowly slipped away. The American team of Sweeney, Mazdzer and Mortensen/Terdiman rallied from a slower start to edge Canada’s team of Gough, Edney and Walker/Snith for silver, while the Canadians took bronze.
