Cernanska Wins 3rd Straight NAC Monobob Race

(December 1, 2022) – Slovakia’s Viktoria Cernanska won her third straight North American Cup monobob race of the North American Cup season, cruising to victory in Lake Placid.

Cernanska set the two quickest runs of the race on her way to a full second victory over Canada’s Mackenzie Stewart.

USA’s Lauren Brzozowski finished third for her second monobob medal of the season, .35 behind Stewart. Canada’s Eden Wilson missed out on a medal in fourth, while Maddy Cohen finished fifth for the United States.

Canada’s Erica Voss set the quick start in the first heat but crashed late in her run and did not finish.
