Brzozowski Wins Park City Gold

(December 15, 2023) – Lauren Brzozowski and Sydney Milani took gold in Park City, edging out Canada’s Melissa Lotholz and Alex Klein for top honors.

The American duo had a .08 advantage over the Canadians in the first heat. In the second run Lotholz drove to the lead with a downtime similar to her first. Brzozowski answered, as she and Milani had the quick start time of the race and the quickest split all the way down the 2002 Olympic track on their way to a .13 second victory over Lotholz and Klein.

Inyoung Park and Eunji Jeon finished third, .32 back as the only other team within a second of the winners.

Kristen Bujnowski, winner of the previous race day’s monobob event finished fourth alongside Brittney Bult, while the American team of Sylvia Hoffman and Rylie Matthews finished fifth.

Mackenzie Stewart and Caelan Brown of Canada rounded out the top six.

Riley Tejcek and Macy Tarlton just missed out of a top six by .06 in seventh, while Erica Voss and Cadence Chernoff rounded out the eight sled field.
