IBSF World Champs Second Weekend Rescheduled to Earlier Date

(March 10, 2025) – The IBSF World Championships have been rescheduled to earlier in the week due to warm temperatures coming into the Lake Placid region.

Originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday (March 15 and 16), the event has been moved to a Friday and Saturday schedule, with start times earlier in the day to preserve ice conditions.

The new schedule will see four-man bobsled at 8:00 AM and 9:45 AM on both days, with two-woman at 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM.

Here’s the updated schedule in full:
Friday, March 14
8:00 AM – Four-man Heat 1
9:45 AM – Four-man Heat 2
1:00 PM – Two-woman Heat 1
2:30 PM – Two-woman Heat 2

Saturday March 15
8:00 AM – Four-man Heat 3
9:45 AM – Four-man Heat 4
1:00 PM – Two-woman Heat 3
2:30 PM – Two-woman Heat 4

Training will be held on Wednesday and Thursday with two-woman in the morning session (8:00 AM start) and four-man in the afternoon session (12:00 PM).
