Germany Goes 1-4 in Lillehammer EC 2-Man

(November 29, 2025) – Maxmilian Illmann and Felix Dahms gave Illmann his second straight two-man gold medal to start the season as part of another German sweep of the top four spots.

Illmann held a small lead over Laurin Zern and Simon Büthe after the first run, but put down a big second run to win by .36 over Zern.

Alexander Czudaj and Bruno Götzel were third, with Hans Peter Hannighofer and Erik Leypold rounding out the top four.

Great Britain’s Nick Gleeson and Jens Hullah were fifth, wth Yulu Guo and Zhuo Li rounding out the top six.
