(January 17, 2026) – Charlotte Candrix slid to gold in dominating fashion in Igls.
Candrix and Anagel Galander slid to the lead by two tenths of a second ahead of teammates Leona Klein and Lena Neunecker and Poland’s Linda Weiszewski and Klaudia Adamek, who were tied for second.
Weiszewski slid to the lead in the second heat ahead of China’s Mingming Huai and Xuan Wang to secure no worse than bronze. Klein then out-slid Weiszewski to take the lead with only Candrix still to go.
Candrix and Galander set the quick start of the second heat, and Candrix put down a slide that was quicker than anyone else all race on her way to a .31 second victory over Kelin, with Weiszewski third.
Huai, Britain’s Adele Nicoll and Ashleigh Nelson, and Italy’s Giada Andreutti and Alessia Gatti rounded out the top six.
