2015/2016 FIL World Cup – Doubles Luge – Race 3

From Park City, USA

For the first time in the 2015/2016 FIL World Cup season, a team other than Eggert & Benecken took gold.  That team was Wendl & Arlt, while Eggert & Benecken took silver for a German 1-2.  The team of Penz & Fischler took bronze for Austria.

The team of Mortensen & Terdiman led the way for the United States on home ice in eighth. Krewson & Sherk finished ninth to put two American teams in the top ten, while Hyrns & Espinoza finished 13th.

The Canadian team of Walker & Snith came into the second run in ninth, but a hard hit at the start of their second run gave them an overall 16th place finish.
