Evelin Lanthaler took gold for the second straight race, and stays undefeated in timed races on the 2015/2016 season. The only woman to beat Lanthaler this season (in the parallel race opener) was Tina Unterberger of Austria, who finished in the silver medal position, just ahead of Ekaterina Lavrentyeva of Russia, who took bronze.
Greta Pinggera celebrated her birthday weekend with a fourth place finish, while Michelle Diepold and Ludmila Astramovich took fifth and sixth, respectively.
