Eric Eierdam won his second gold medal of the early IBSF para-skeleton season. The American was fastest at every interval along the Norwegian track on his way to a 1.45 second win over the field.
Eierdam came into the second run just .16 ahead of silver medalist Matthew Richardson, but put down a blazing second run to cruise to victory.
Richardson’s silver medal is his third of the season (gold and bronze in Park City’s two races). He edged Ryan Gautieri of the United States, who finished with a bronze medal.
Brendan Dover of Australia finished fourth, but had the second-fastest run in the second heat. American Jeffrey Lampe of the United States finished fifth.
