From Oberhof, GER
Latvia once again swept the top two spots in Oberhof, with Arturs Klots once again edging teammate Lauris Zutis for the top spot.
Klots was fastest in both heats on his way to gold, with Zutis out-pacing Austrian Andreas Kapfinger for the silver medal. Kapfinger would hold off British slider Corie Mapp by .02 for bronze.
Barry Schroeder led the way for the United States in sixth place, with Aaron Lanningham finishing one spot behind in seventh. Dave Nicholls, Jason Sturm, and Dawn Macomber finished 12th through 14th for the United States.
Brian McPherson finished fifth in the top Canadian sled, ahead of teammate Lonnie Bissonnette, who finished eighth.
