(Nov. 17, 2017) Brogan Crowley picked up where teammate Eleanor Furneaux left off, winning gold in Winterberg.
The British pair were 1-2 going into the second heat, and while Crowley set the fast time in the second heat Furneaux struggled, dropping to eighth overall.
The win was Crowley’s first on the season.
Corinna Leipold of Germany and Maria Marinela Mazilu of Romania tied for silver after Mazilu jumped up from sixth in her second run.
Britain’s Hannah Stevenson finished fourth, ahead of Russia’s Alina Tararychenkova and the United States’ Kellie Delka.
Furneaux finished eighth and teammate Philippa Brett finished 11th to round out the British effort, while Leslie Stratton finished 17th for the United States.
