(Jan. 11, 2019) – Janine Becker continued a streak of podium finishes on the European Cup dating back to November of 2016 on her way to a gold medal in Altenberg.
Becker won her second straight gold medal (and eighth medal in European Cup action) leading a German sweep of the podium.
Luisa Hornung finished second and Hannah Neise third.
Anastasia Trufanova was the top finishing non-German in fourth, ahead of Frances Agathe Bessard and Germany’s Josefa Schellmoser.
