Austin Wins First NAC 4-man in Park City

Dec. 11, 2019 – Taylor Austin continued his winning ways in Park City, winning the opening 4-man bobsled race of the NAC tour stop after sweeping three 2-man events.

Austin and his crew were the fastest off the top and at the bottom of both heats on their way to a .86 second victory over Nick Cunningham of the United States.

The win was the first ever 4-man victory for Ausitn.

For Cunningham, the silver medal comes in his first 4-man bobsled race since the 2018 Olympic Games with a team of rookies pushing him.

Jeff McKeen finished third, well ahead of Patrick Norton in fourth. Derek Van den Brink helped put four Canadian sleds in the top five with his fifth place finish.
