Jan. 6, 2020 – Nicole Vogt won her sixth IBSF North American Cup gold medal in Lake Placid, beating Kristi Koplin for the top honor.
Vogt was the quickest in both heats on her way to a .62 second victory over teammate Kristi Koplin. Koplin was the only pilot within a second of Vogt.
Kori Hol finished in third for her fourth straight women’s bobsled medal.
Shelby Williamson of the United States finished fourth, while Canadian Bianca Ribi finished fifth.
Cynthia Appiah and Melissa Lotholz did not finish.
