On their home track, Austria showed the same speed that they had a week prior in Altenberg. Behind Kindl’s siver medal, the brothers Nico & David Gleirscher tied for fourth, while Russia’s Roman Repilov finished sixth.

Tucker West led the United States with a 17th place run, just a tenth behind Leon Felderer in the final Sprint World Cup qualifying position. Chris Mazdzer finished 20th, while Jonny Gustafson finished one spot back in 21st.

Canada’s Reid Watts finished 22nd, just ahead of Alexander Ferlazzo from Australia in 23rd.
