IBSF Releases World Cup Calendar – North America with Three Dates

(May 19, 2022) – The International Bobsled & Skeleton Federation has released its World Cup schedule, and with it is a return to the North American tracks for the first time since the outbreak of COVID-19.

The season will start in western North America, with things kicking off in Whistler in late November before heading to Park City to begin the December slate of action. After Park City the tour will head to Lake Placid, which will hold the IBSF Push Championships in the new push facility one week before the third World Cup date of the season.

After the Christmas break the tour will head to Germany for a race in Winterberg, followed by double races in Altenberg over the next two weekends. From there it will be off to St. Moritz for World Championships across the last week of January and first week of February.

The season will round out with Igls and Sigulda, with the latter hosting a double two-man event.

The remainder of the IBSF calendar for Intercontinental, European, and North American Cups will be released at a later date.
