Jäger & Steudte Win Second Straight in Lillehammer

(December 2, 2022) – For the second time in two races Moritz Jäger and Valentin Steudte set the quick time in both heats on their way to gold in Lillehammer.

The German duo were consistent off the top, and once again set the two fastest runs of the race on their way to a .359 second victory over Americans Marcus Mueller and Ansel Haugsjaa.

Across the two races, Jäger and Steudte had the four fastest times put down all week.

Mueller and Haugsjaa beat out Latvians Kaspars Rinks and Vitalijs Jegorovs for silver, with the Latvians taking bronze. In the previous race it was the Latvians edging out the Americans.

Latvia also finished fourth, with the duo of Baltgalvis and Bruns edging out Germany’s Kunze and Götze, while the Ukrainian duo of Mykyievych and Babura finished sixth.
