2012 USA Skeleton National Team Race Results

With World Champion Katie Uhlaender and top performer Matt Antoine receiving a bye through the USBSF National Team trials, racing was wide open in both men’s and women’s skeleton.  On the men’s side, John Daly led the way in both heats, easily sailing to victory over Kyle Tress with a time of 1:51.98.  Tress, Ryan Sweeny, Tom Santagato and Greg West round out the top five.

In women’s action, Noelle Pikus-Pace showed great return to form as she, too, set the fast mark in both heats.  Pikus-Pace, who had retired after the Vancouver Olympics, is looking to come back for the Sochi Olympics in 2014.  Her time of 1:54.35 beat a very fast Kimber Gabryszak, Meghan Sullivan, Savannah Graybill and Annie O’Shea.
