From Lake Placid, USA
Steven Holcomb continued his dominating ways on Lake Placid’s ice, sliding to victory with teammate Steven Langton. The margin of victory was relatively sizable, but Cory Butner took silver, his best World Cup finish to date. Francisco Frederich finishes third, while Nick Cunningham made it three sleds in the Top 5 for Team USA with a 5th place finish.
The Canadian men didn’t fare as well as their female couterparts. Rush and Lumsden took 7th, while Spring and Ben finished 13th and Kripps and Carriere took 15th.
