2012/2013 FIBT World Cup – Round 2 – Women’s Bobsled

From Park City, USA

Kaillie Humphries stayed perfect on the 2012/2013 season by taking gold in Park City today, besting two very quick German sleds.  Humphries and Valios set the fast time in both heats to take gold by .28 over Sandra Kiriasis.  Cathleen Martini took bronze, giving Germany its best bobsled finishes on the World Cup circuit thus far.

The USA finished just outside of medals, with Jamie Greubel and Jazmine Fenlator finishing 4th and 5th, while Elana Meyers finishes an uncharacteristic 8th.  Jennifer Ciochetti brought the second Canadian sled home in 12th, while Paula Walker finishes 9th.
