Storch & Patz Win JWC Finale

(February 2, 2024) – Elisa-Marie Storch and Pauline Patz cruised to victory in the Junior World Cup finale in St. Moritz, and clinched the season title in the process.

The duo out-slid Latvia’s Viktorija Ziedina and Selina Zvilna over two heats to win by .238, with nobody else within a full second of the top two.

Germany’s Sarah Pflaume and Lina Peterseim took third, 1.25 out of the lead.

Ukraine’s Natasha Khytrenko and Viktoriia Koval finished fourth, with Viktoria Praxova and Desana Spitzova rounding out the top five.

Storch and Patz’s victory, coupled with the fourth place finish for Khytrenko and Koval, gave both teams a season title, tied with 100 points. Canada’s Embyr-Lee Susko and Beattie Podulsky finished the year in third.
