From Sigulda, LAT
(February 1, 2025) – Inola Blatty slid to her third straight monobob victory in Sigulda, once again winning handily over teammate Selina Isler.
Blatty this time held a .3 second advantage over Isler after the first heat, on her way to a .78 second victory over two runs.
Isler’s silver was her second straight, which gave her three straight medals on the stop in Latvia.
Garcia was around a second off the pace in each heat, but that was enough to slide to bronze, her first ever medal as a pilot.
Georgeta Popescu was fourth, with Amelija Kotane fifth and Mica Moore sixth.
Robin Post was seventh.
Patricia Tajcnarova, a medalist in the last three monobob races, crashed in the first heat and did not start the second.
With three races remaining in the 2024/2025 Europe Cup, Selina Isler holds a ten point lead over teammate Inola Blatty. Patricia Tajcnarova is third, Leanna Garcia fourth, and Mica Moore fifth.
