From St. Moritz, SUI
(February 27, 2025) – Hans Peter Hannighofer won his first Europe Cup race in over a year as he slid to a .45 second victory over teammate Maximilian Illmann.
Hannighofer and Joshua Tasche slid to a .15 second lead over Illmann and Lukas Koller. In the second heat, Hannighofer once again out-drove Illmann, this time by another .3 on the way to a .45 win.
Germany once again swept the top four spots, with Laurin Zern and Alexander Schaller third, and Alexander Czudaj and Johannes Reuter fourth.
Great Britain’s Nick Gleeson and Callum Dixon finished a great season with a fifth place finish, with Dutch slider Dave Wesselink and Julian Jansen in sixth.
Maximilian Illmann finished the season as the tw0-man champion, ahead of Renars Grantins in second and Jachym Prochazka in third. Andrei Turea was fourth, and Laurin Zern fifth.
