From Lillehammer, NOR
(November 27, 2025) – Siji Song won her first ever gold medal in IBSF international competition as she beat out a huge field of sliders in Lillehammer.
Song went generally unchallenged, beating out Germany’s Viktoria Hansova by .26 after the first heat, then adding on another .29 on her way to a .55 second victory for her first ever international medal.
Hansova was silver, .04 ahead of China’s Yuxin Liang, who took bronze.
The United States’ Michelle Toukan, the 2024/2025 Europe Cup third place finisher, was fourth, ahead of Yangqi Zhu and Nanna Johansen, who rounded out the top six.
Ashlyn Bland led the way for Great Britain in eighth place. Teammates Regan Walker and Leah Kidd were 17th and 20th.
Sha’Londa Terry was 18th for the United States.
