From Lillehammer, NOR
(November 30, 2025) – Hans Peter Hannighoffer slid to gold in Lillehammer as part of another German sweep of the top four spots.
Hannighofer’s team gave him a quick start in each heat, and Hannighofer had the quick split at all but one interval on his way to a .28 victory over teammate Maxmilian Illmann.
Illmann’s team matched Hannighofer’s squad at both pushes, but Hannighofer was just a tick better in both heats. Illmann was able to hold back Alexander Czudaj and Laurin Zern for second, with Czudaj third and Zern fourth to round out the German sweep of the top four spots.
Great Britain’s Nick Gleeson was once again the top non-German in fifth, ahead of Nils Reich of Switzerland in sixth.
