From Lake Placid, USA
(January 3, 2026) – Bianca Ribi cruised to gold in Lake Placid monobob action, setting the quick time in both heats on her way to victory.
In both heats Ribi out-slid Sin-Rong Lin of Taiwan, with Lin the only slider within a full second of Ribi.
Yooran Kim was third, .12 ahead of Slovakia’s Viktoria Cernanska, who was fourth.
Mica Moore continued a strong season with a fifth place finish, ust ahead of Nigeria’s Simi Adeagbo, who was sixth.
Canada’s Erica Voss, usually a medal contender, had trouble in both of her runs in a seventh place effort where she had the quick start in both heats.
With two races remaining in the NAC women’s monobob season, Bianca Ribi leads Sin-Rong Lin, with Erica Voss third. Yooran Kim and Mica Moore.
