(February 2, 2026) – The Court of Arbitration for Sport has denied the appeals of both Elsa Desmond and Katie Uhlaender in their bids to get into the Olympics.
In separate decisions, CAS ruled that neither appeal came within the CAS Ad Hoc Division’s scope, as they will only hear cases that come up within ten days of the Olympic Opening Ceremony.
Desmond’s appeal came on an action that was one day prior to the cutoff, Uhlaender’s was four days out.
