From Yanqing, CHN
(January 18, 2026) – Wengang Yan once again cruised to victory in Yanqing as part of a Chinese sweep of the top five positions in the race.
Yan was untouched in the race, opening up a .81 second lead over teammate Zhongxu Lin after one run, with nobody else within a full second of the Olympic bronze medalist.
Yan’s second slide was only four hundredths off his first run pace, enough to win by over a second and a half ahead of Lin, with teammate Qinshou Bai third.
Aoyu Zhang and Rongcun Zhang were fourth and fifth.
Taido Nagao of Japan was the top athlete from outside of China in sixth, over four seconds off the pace.
