(March 27, 2026) – Youngmin Song and Jaewoong An gave South Korea a one-two finish to finish up the 2025/2026 North American Cup season.
Song had the quick start and quick downtime in both heats on his way toa 1.08 second victory over teammate An for Song’s first win of his career.
An’s silver was also his best finish to date.
Behind the two Koreans, the United States took the next six spots, with Lukas Kissell taking bronze ahead of Tyler Madl, Jackson Kendrick, and Alex Samples to round out the top six, with Tony Furnells and Andy Ciolino in seventh and eighth for the United States.
Nigeria’s Yinka Oyebanjo-Odofin was tenth in his first race, with Martin Oderinde 12th. Sandwiched in between the two Nigerians was Bradley Cahlupski, who finished 11th in his first start in nine years.
France’s Lucas Defayet had clinched the season title after seven races, ahead of Canada’s Josip Brusic and South Korea’s Chanhyuk Yeo.
