Bos Wins NAC Skeleton Finale, Burger Holds Onto Title

From Lake Placid, USA

(March 27, 2026) – Kimberley Bos cruised to victory in the final North American Cup women’s skeleton race of the 2025/2026 season, beating out a threesome of young American sliders for the top spot.

Bos went untouched in either heat. Fifth off the top, she slid to a .87 second lead over Grace Otto, with Hannah Gaskins and Liesel Baker fighting for third and fourth, about .6 back behind Otto.

Baker put down a strong run in the second heat to take the lead from Poland’s Marta Jakobczyk, and then held that lead as Gaskins was unable to keep pace.

Otto was the penultimate slider off the top, and had another strong start matched with a clean enough slide to take the lead and secure a career-best second place finish.

But nobody was going to match Bos’s pace. The 2022 Olympic bronze medalist was a quarter of a second quicker in her second run on her way to a 2.11 second victory over Otto, with Baker third, 2.75 back.

The gold for Bos was her seventh in nine races at the NAC level dating back to the 2015/2016 season.

Gaskins, Jakobczyk, and USA’s Laura Lindquist rounded out the top six, with Yewoon Park, Liun Kim, and Elizabeth Swaney rounding out the nine sled field.

South Africa’s Nicole Burger took the season title, with Sujung Hong second and Baker third.
