On a day where there was lots of close racing, American Jamie Greubel Poser made sure that one of the races was a runaway.
Greubel Poser was the quickest in both heats, dominating on home ice ahead of Canadian World Cup point leader Kaillie Humphries. 
Humphries had two strong runs, ahead of everyone but Greubel Poser. Christina Hengster of Austria took third, edging Elfje Willemsen of Belgium. Anja Schneiderheinze finished fifth, and An Vannieuwenhuyse rounded out the top six in the second Belgian sled.
American World Cup rookie pilots Nicole Vogt and Brittany Reinbolt finished eighth and ninth, respectively.
