Sabina Hafner overcame two mid-pack starts with two very clean drives down Königssee to win her first gold medal of the season. The Swiss pilot was fastest in both heats, beating German Anna Köhler by .30 over two runs.
Japanese pilot Maria Oshigiri had the quickest push in both heats, which combined with her drives was good enough for a bronze medal.
