Gadbois Continues Calgary NAC Mastery in First 4-Man

From Calgary, CAN

(Nov. 16, 2017) Geoffrey Gadbois continues his bobsled mastery of the Calgary Olympic track with another win, this time in four-man bobsled.

The American’s team set a blistering pace on their first run, and despite a second-fastest time in the second heat, managed to hold off teammate Hunter Church to take gold. Church, who won the season four-man opener in Whistler, set the fast time in the second heat to close the gap to Gadbois, finishing .16 off the two-heat pace.

Youngjin Suk of Korea finished third, well ahead of China’s Yijun Shao. Shao edged Croatia’s Drazen Silic and Switzerland’s Pius Meyerhans for fourth, while Silic and Meyerhans finished fifth and sixth, respectively.
