Kripps Stays Perfect in Whistler

(Nov. 8, 2018) – Justin Kripps remained perfect on the 2018/2019 season, once again setting the fast time in both heats on his way to victory in Whistler.

The 2-man Olympic co-champion beat out Monegasque Rudy Rinaldi in both heats to take a .32 victory. Rinaldi had the second-quickest run in both heats to take silver.

Canadian Taylor Austin finished with a bronze medal, giving Canada five of the available six 2-man medals in the season opening NAC races.

American Codie Bascue finished fourth, ahead of Chris Spring of Canada and Brad Hall of Great Britain.

Justin Olsen finished eighth in the second American sled, while Lamin Deen finished 12th in the second British sled.

Canadian Nick Poloniato struggled in his first run, but set the fourth fastest time in the second heat to finish 16th.
