Once again the weather has played a major part in the finish of the two-man bobsled.  The GER-1 sled of Florschuetz/Kuske couldn’t be bothered with the weather, though, and held onto their first place after run 1 to win gold.  The SUI-1 sled of Hefti/Lamparter takes silver, while Melbardis/Dreiskens in LAT-1 take bronze.  The LAT-1 sled benefited from being the final sled on the track before weather picked back up.

The Napier/Olsen USA-2 sled finished 15th, while CAN-1 with Rush/Lumsden finished 6th and the Spring/Plug CAN-2 sled finished 9th.
