(Dec. 14, 2020) – With the cancelation of their season opener in Kühtai due to a lack of snow thanks to global warming, the International Luge Federation has made the race in Winterleiten a doubleheader, with the first World Cup race being held in its entirety on Thursday, December 17.
The regularly scheduled second World Cup race will be held using its scheduled format with the women’s and doubles races held on Friday, December 18 and the men’s and team competitions held on Saturday, December 19.

Thursday, December 17 – World Cup Race 1:
3:30 AM – Men’s luge first run
4:20 AM – Women’s luge first run
5:00 AM – Men’s luge second run
5:45 AM – Women’s luge second run
6:30 AM – Doubles luge first run
Friday, December 18 – World Cup Race 2:
4:00 AM – Doubles luge first run
4:30 AM – Women’s luge first run
5:00 AM – Double luge second run
5:45 AM – Women’s luge second run
Saturday, December 19 – World Cup Race 2:
4:00 AM – Men’s luge first run
5:45 AM – Men’s luge second run
6:45 AM – Team Competition
