(Jan. 13, 2021) – Great Britain’s Matt Weston was the quickest off the top in both heats and the fastest at every split on his way to a .22 second victory over Germany’s Lukas Nydegger.
Great Britain put two sliders on the podium, with Jerry Rice winning bronze. Rice edged out Germany’s Ludwig Mannhardt for the spot by .12.
Austria’s Alexander Schlintner finished just over a second out of the lead in fifth, ahead of Germany’s Cedric Renner in sixth.
Ben Fulker helped put all three British sleds in the top ten with a tenth place finish.
Andrew Blaser was the top-finishing American, tying for tenth with Fulker. Hunter Williams finished just out of the top 20 in 21st.
