Henry Wins 3rd Straight in Park City

From Park City, USA

Jan. 28, 2021 – Megan Henry won her third straight race in Park City to sweep the North American Cup women’s skeleton stop there.

Henry was the quickest off the top in both heats and the fastest at every split to the finish on her way to a .61 second victory over Canada’s Madison Charney. The win was also the third of Henry’s IBSF career.

Charney was a half second back going into the second heat but kept it close in the second heat to win her second straight North American Cup silver medal. The medal is also her second outside of Canada at any level of competition.

Sweden’s Leslie Stratton continued to be strong in Park City with a bronze medal finish. Since beginning to slide for Sweden, Stratton’s best finishes have all come on the 2002 Olympic track.

Katie Tannenbaum finished fifth, just behind Kellie Delka. Tannenbaum’s finishes have only gotten better as the season has gone on.

Grace Dafoe scored her best ever finish in Park City with a sixth place finish.

Leah Fair, Isabella Burns, and Erin Brumley finished eighth through tenth respectively for the United States, while Shannon Galea finished 12th for Malta.
